12:44 pm - This girl is never going to be afraid of anything ever.

Narwhales Activate!Hey! Listen!
We're back!
& better than fucking ever!
With twice the chutzpah, 100% more frying pan and enough kyle to choke a horse.  After months of writing and recording, we are un-donning our sombereros and getting mexcited.

sorry.

I think it goes something like this:

October 6th  (that's Saturday!)
Founder's Brewery
with
Winnie Cooper
8 pm  21+ (sorry, kids)
4 $ollars

Friday, October 12th
The Elbow Room (Ypsi, not Fuller)
8-ish
with
um, we don't know the rest of the details, sorry.  It's been awhile.

Anyway, it's going to be fucking AWESOME.

Also, I just recorded some new Burgertime songs with Jon Bruha.  It was a lot of fun and they're called 'Geniustown' & 'AAAHH!!!  Real Zombies' and I'm realy* really happy with how lo-fi they came out.  We accidentally left the windows open and you can even sort of hear the cars driving by.  You can listen to them here if you want.

Oh yeah, there's a BT show at the DAAC on October 25th.  I'm playing with Man at Arms and Parts & Labor  which will be odd and radical.  It will be oddical.

I will see you later...in the future!

I actually forgot how to spell "really" for a moment.  Seriously, I had to go to m-w.com.  I know, it was weird.

2:05 am - Diss Missive
Dear Sirs,
We live in an angry world.  What with local crime, unjust war, rudeness, religion, et cetera, there is a lot about which to be upset.  Some days, the unease and irritation is fucking palpable.
However, I find that nothing evokes my ire as much as the asinine articles of Tom Rademacher.  His consistently abhorrent pap is a testament to the waste of ink, paper and life.  His patronizing "every man" columns are insulting, nauseating and unnecessary to the point where it would be less irritating if Rademacher pared Mitch Albom, wore his skin like a suit and danced around shouting, "I'm an accomplished Local Interests writer!"
Seriously, every time I read one of Rademacher's hands-in-the-air 'confessions' to being just an average guy I want to punch myself in the soul.  No one wants to read tripe like that.  If the everyman was interested in everymannerisms, he would simply think about how mind-achingly dull he was.  He wouldn't go to a third-rate third party.
Take this example from Rademacher's August 26th column:
". . . at least one person . . . might convince you that I'm nothing more than a blue-collar, cheap suds-swillin', Cocoa Puffs-for-breakfast kind of guy.  To which I take offense.  And where's my Fred Flintstone juice cup?"
Ha ha ha.  Fuck you, Tom Rademacher.  Fuck you.

We're going to need a new term which combines "banality" and "bullshit."  Banullshittery, or something.

If people paid me for my excrement, I'd be grinning like a stupid asshole, too.

Please, ax this clown, if not for the sake of your readers, then for the sake of journalism itself.  This man has taken the written word, abused it into submission and degraded it unimaginably in the bowels of his perverted word-dungeon.  He must be stopped.  You have the power, nay, the responsibility to end this travesty of reporting.  Reporvesty.
I implore you; oust Rademacher.  Take a stand and show this bastard that we refuse to put up with his talentless drivel anymore.  No longer shall we allow ourselves to be sullied by his boring storytelling and absurd "good-old-days" rhetoric.

He is become inanity, destroyer of minds.

Fire him and replace him with a block of wood.  A block of wood with an ass drawn on it.  Nobody will notice the difference.
Scratch that, everybody will notice.  And everybody will be grateful.
"Thank you," they will say, "for firing that ass-block of a writer."

I appreciate your time and swift action in the canning of this mofo.

Yours,
Rei Robinson
